Important safety recall of select Whisky Handlebars

In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and Health Canada, Quality Bicycle Products is conducting a Voluntary Safety Recall of all Whisky No.9 12F and Whisky No.9 24F Carbon Handlebars that were sold to retailers from January 2018 through August 2022 due to reports of the handlebars cracking/fracturing, which has a potential to cause a crash hazard.
The affected handlebars include:
- Whisky No.9 12F Drop Handlebar – Carbon, Black, All Sizes
- Whisky No.9 24F Drop Handlebar – Carbon, Black, All Sizes
No other Whisky handlebars are affected or included in this notice.
Rider safety is our greatest concern. Here’s what to do if you think you may have an affected Whisky handlebar:
Immediately stop using the affected Whisky No.9 12F and Whisky No.9 24F Carbon handlebar.
Contact the retailer where you made your purchase to arrange for a free replacement of your impacted handlebar.
